The SUMP is intended to help the city to decrease greenhouse gas emissions by 50 per cent between 2008 and 2020 and to make the city carbon neutral by 2030.
Context analysis
First, the PUMS analyses the state of development of the old SUMP, the level of execution and the level of impact of the former SUMP measures. With this data and the growth of the number of inhabitants, the scenarios fixed for the former SUMP were modified to adapt to a new situation. Finally, the new SUMP updates the data for a complete diagnosis through the municipality primary source and a complete phone survey.
