BUMP pioneer cities open the doors to international local authorities for study visits

study visit quadrifoglio

The best performing cities of the BUMP Project are well ahead in the development of their SUMPs and are ready to welcome technical officers and decision makers from local authorities established in the EU, and Norway, Switzerland, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, FYR of Macedonia, Albania and Turkey, for a study visit.

After an intense period of work supported by BUMP’s experts, BUMP pioneer cities’ officers have been trained, they have studied their territories and analyzed critical mobility issues, learned about SUMPs, and discovered new mobility measures suitable and effective for the specific needs of their cities. Now the SUMPs are being developed all around Europe, with the purpose of making urban spaces better places to live in.

So, the time has come for local authorities to take action!

If you are a local authority technical officer or a political decision maker dealing with transport and mobility issues, the BUMP project gives you the great opportunity to win a trip to visit one of the pioneer cities, learn from best practices and, ultimately, find ways to replicate the BUMP approach in your territory.

Discover our BUMP Pioneers around Europe, choose a city, and apply as a local authority’s representative for a study visit.

Applications deadline: November 20, 2015.
