BUMP organizes a series of visits to best-performing towns and cities (the ‘BUMP Pioneers’) where the BUMP approach has been fully implemented and put into practice, leading to remarkable results in terms of sustainable urban mobility plans and realizations.
These visits, addressed to both local authorities and organizations willing to replicate the BUMP approach and develop their own SUMPs or replicate the capacity building and coaching actions, aim to enable the knowledge, learning and experience gained through the BUMP project to be shared beyond the participating group and inspire other authorities.
Visits will provide a great opportunity for hosting towns and cities to raise their profile nationally and internationally. By attending these visits, guest delegations will be able to see exemplar mobility projects in action, learning how they developed and understanding the conditions needed to replicate such projects where they live. These visits also represent attractive opportunities for networking and international cooperation, both for the delegates and the hosting towns and cities involved.
